So, let me tell you a little about our company and the job.

My name is Mike Fernandes, and I am the President of  Infinite Fitness Sports Performance. We are located at 221 Weaver Street Fall River, MA.

Our business is dedicated to providing our members with the training, coaching, and support they need to reach their health/fitness or athletic goals. We coach athletes from middle school to professional levels along with our adult clients.

We know that our biggest assets are our Team and our knowledge.  We’re in business to change lives by providing our customers with top notch coaching, training, and customer service.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organized, motivated, outgoing, and hard working individual to join our Team as an Assistant Strength Coach .  The coach is responsible for:

  1. Assisting with all aspects of the coaching, programming, and management of athletes and clients.
  2. Instruct athletes in the areas of physical health, team concepts and safety.
  3. Demonstrate a working knowledge of exercise science and program design.
  4. Schedule and conduct regular accountability sessions with clients to ensure they are on pace to attain their goals.
  5. Collaborate with the Team to develop strategies to motivate and achieve maximum level of results for all clients and appropriate personal and social conduct within the Core Values of Infinite Fitness LLC.
  6. Contribute to the overall success of Infinite Fitness LLC and our Team by performing all other duties as assigned and appropriate to the position; including data entry, customer experience, and client management. 
  7. Ensures all prospects and members receive the highest level of customer service possible.

If you are accepted for this position, you will be working a part time schedule that will be a minimum of 20 hours per week.  The position may become full time, if the circumstances dictate.  You must be able to work mornings, late afternoon/early evenings and weekends.  Make no mistake about it, we work extremely hard.  We also understand the importance of personal balance, and find ways to facilitate that with our Team.  Being able to maintain our CORE VALUES (Integrity, Passion, Team Player, Relentless Pursuit of Excellence, Dedicated, Lead By Example) is how we’ve been able to help numerous athletes to go on and play professional sports or get college scholarships.  It’s allowed us to help people lose over a hundred pounds. We have been featured both nationally and internationally in publications such as Men’s and Women’s Fitness ABC, NBC, and CBS; these are just a few from the last couple of years.  What we’re doing is getting attention.  We’re very proud to have been able to grow at the pace that we have, while maintaining our quality standards in the eyes of our customers, and building a career for our Team members – all at the same time.

What the Position Requires

  • Data tracking and entry: We’re going to provide you with the guidance and support, as well as the resources to accomplish objectives. Being able to effectively manage those resources to stay efficient will be a driver for success.
  • Client/Lead management: Overseeing client attendance and scheduling Success Sessions is one part of providing a great experience and making sure that our customers are on pace to reach their goals.
  • Customer experience/value: We’re in the service business so providing a great customer experience and service is at the root of our business.
  • Process improvement and execution:  We have a lot of moving parts, so staying organized and knowing the status of Projects will be key.  As we continue to grow, we also have to continue to find better ways to do what we do.  Being process driven is important, as is being driven to improve processes.

Prerequisite Skills and Attitude

  • Desire to learn and grow: We’re very serious about this! We want a person who is motivated to get better every day and who isn’t shy about suggesting ideas on how we can improve the business. We do not want a robot that simply follows a checklist. We want someone who learns and grows with our company.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, Google Docs, and general technology applications: You must be very comfortable with social media and using computer applications and electronic communication. From time to time we communicate and work with clients virtually using video conferencing technology.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills: These are a must! You will need to be attentive to even the smallest of details to ensure we’re meeting our high quality standards. Phone and email communication skills are necessities.
  • Strong desire to help people: You will be the first line of contact for most customers and leads. Understanding these people and making sure they know you are truly committed to finding the solution to their problem. We’ll teach you the basics of what to say and do, but we can’t teach you how to have a great attitude and a strong desire to help people.
