Deb’s Story

About a year after our son joined Infinite Fitness (IF), I pulled a muscle in my lower back getting into bed. It was so painful that I wanted to call 911, and for the next three days, I needed help just to walk to the bathroom.

That’s when I realized I really needed to improve my health. I was 50 years old, 30 pounds overweight, wasn’t eating healthy, and had stopped exercising.

Around that time, IF advertised a 28-day weight loss program. I signed up, and it was the best decision I made! It started me on my journey to a better life—eating healthier and exercising consistently under a certified coach.

The program taught me how to eat healthy with a monthly plan and recipes, and I could teach my family how to eat well too.

A month after losing almost 10 pounds, I joined IF’s metabolic resistance training (MRT) program—a coach-guided group training with fun exercises! It was so welcoming, and a certified coach helped me ramp up at my own pace. I now train 3 times a week and look forward to it every time.

Combining strength training with healthy eating helped me lose more weight, increase strength, flexibility, and confidence, and meet many goals. It also allowed me to do activities I couldn’t have before—like swimming with dolphins on a family vacation (I fit into a wetsuit!) and volunteering with My Brother’s Keeper, moving furniture into 3-story apartments.

Now, at 63, I can do any activity without limitations.

To anyone on the fence about training at IF: Do it now! Don’t wait until it’s too late to enjoy life with your family and friends. IF truly changes lives. It changed mine, and it can change yours too!
